5 Celebrities Who Have Body Hang-Ups

Contrary to what we always see on the red carpet or in magazines, there are plenty of celebrities who aren’t completely happy with their bodies, which they say is just natural. Some don’t like to look in the mirror or at photographs of themselves, while others just hate certain parts of their bodies, such as their legs. Everyone has hang-ups, even these 5 gorgeous stars, who can hopefully look past the negative thoughts and see that they look fantastic!

Kim Kardashian

Kim says sometimes her confidence disappears and she doesn’t like her thighs very much: “I’m not always confident – of course I have hang-ups like everyone else. I’ve never been a big fan of my thighs, but I do love my stomach when it’s in shape. I work out with my personal trainer, Gunnar Peterson, for an hour each day and do classes. But I enjoy running on the treadmill.”

Sarah Michelle Gellar

Sarah Michelle Gellar says she keeps away from mirrors because she sees herself differently to how she really appears:”I’m a female! I totally have body dysmorphic disorder. I think most women do. A make-up artist friend once said, ‘I don’t think I’ve ever seen you look in a mirror’. I’m surrounded by them all the time – you sit in hair and make-up – so I guess I just have this mechanism where I tune it out. So every once in a while, I’ll look and I’ll be like, ‘Wait, that’s what I look like?’

Nicole Scherzinger

Nicole has a few things she doesn’t like, including some parts of her legs:”I don’t like my thighs. Or the back of my legs. Or my chubby knees. I never have. I wear clothes that show my legs in pictures or videos but not often when I’m appearing live. I’d love a bit more definition.”

Megan Fox

Megan never looks at photographs of herself because it puts her into a panic:”I never look at myself, even in still photographs. I don’t look at anything. I panic if there is a monitor in the room I immediately go into like an anxiety attack. I’m insecure, I think most actors are pretty insecure.”

Lara Stone

When asked about her least favourite body part, the famous Dutch model said that there are plenty of things she doesn’t like: “Most of it. It depends on the day. Like most women, I have days where I feel like today I’m not leaving the house – you know days where you’ve got a spot on your nose or when you’ve just got off a flight, eaten fish and chips and feel really bloated – that one happens a lot to me. You have to accept yourself though, and accept that there will always be something to worry about. It’s much easier just to accept things.”
